Chevrolet Supermatic 6L80-E Performance Transmission

This 6-speed automatic transmission model comes with 650 foot-pounds of torque and suited for a 2WD vehicle (either Chevy LS or LSX models). There are two variations to choose from: a 2400 stall torque converter and a 3000 stall torque converter. If you want an upgraded high-performance transmission, the 6L80-E improves torque by 45% vs ordinary production models.

GM 4T65E Transmission

The 4T65-E transmission was first released in 1997 replacing the 4T60E. This model was one of the most common installations in GM’s front-wheel drive vehicles in the mid to late 1990s and was installed in vehicles until 2011 when it was replaced by the 6T70 model. Vehicles manufactured with 4T65-E transmissions include:

Chevy 700R4 Transmission

This 4-speed automatic transmission was first released by Chevrolet in 1981 and continued as the default heavy-duty transmission for production trucks, larger cars, sports cars, and SUVs. The 700R4 was installed in production vehicles until 1992. Some of the most common vehicles that had this model factory-installed were Corvettes, Camaros, Blazers, and Impalas.

GM 6L80 Transmission

The 6L80 transmission model is an automatic 6-speed transmission released by General Motors in 2005. It’s a heavier duty transmission suitable for large sedans, town cars, trucks, and SUVs. The 6L80 model was installed in vehicles until 2019 in Corvettes, Cadillac XLR-V, GMC Yukons, Yukon Denali, Chevy Tahoes, Hummer H2, Chevy Avalanche, Camaros, Silverados and Sierras, Cadillac Escalades, Chevy Caprice, and much more.
